Giraffes mostly live in Africa. Giraffes have a rather bizarre and peculiar appearance, which is what giraffe hunters buy for. On Earth, the giraffe is the tallest mammalian animal. They used to be called very beautifully – “leopard horses”.

Since some point, the number of giraffe individuals has sharply decreased. At the moment, giraffes are classified as endangered animals. And first of all, this reduction occurs because giraffe hunting takes place, and is very popular and arouses great interest among fairly well-off tourists. In fact, giraffe hunting is prohibited. But not all over the world. In Africa, where they are the most numerous, at least in several countries (for example, South Africa), giraffe hunting is legalized at the state level. Giraffes are hunted, as a rule, on private ranches. And even though a giraffe hunting license is far from cheap, there will always be hunters who are willing to pay a fabulous sum for such a trophy.

Giraffe hunting is considered sports trophy hunting. As a trophy, hunters receive giraffe meat, tough, but very edible, as well as an unusual animal skin.

Giraffe hunting requires extraordinary dexterity and strength from the hunter. Since the giraffe, good-natured by nature, is very sensitive to the approaching danger. Despite his apparent clumsiness, he runs quite fast. And if a giraffe protects its cub, it can easily kick the offender, his legs are quite strong and muscular. His legs are so strong that a lion can die from one of his kicks.

Here’s how giraffes were hunted before:

“Hunters chase giraffes while hunting, usually on running camels or horses. But not every horse is able to catch up with a giraffe. But if this happens, then the hunter, approaching the victim, cuts the tendon on the hind leg of the animal, the giraffe falls, and then the hunter finishes it off.”

If the giraffe is caught not to kill, but to place it outside the will, you should carefully study everything about the care of the animal. Without proper care, giraffes die from the disease. This disease affects the joints and bones of the animal. This is due to the fact that they do not have enough allocated space, and they are not provided with proper nutrition.
