Saguaro National Park protects some of the most characteristic landscapes of the Sonoran Desert. Giant saguaro cacti dominate the scenery, with some reaching impressive heights and living for many decades. The park is divided into eastern and western districts around Tucson. Scenic drives, hiking trails and sunset viewpoints make it an excellent destination for experiencing Arizona’s desert environment.
