Plus, specialists in this field have received a lot of new opportunities to implement their projects.

The most famous architectural style is Empire. He serves as a prototype of ancient art, borrowing from him motives and majestic power. Empire is a representation of ancient Egyptian themes: large geometric volumes, sphinxes and arabesques. The current formed in decorative art at the beginning of the twentieth century is art Deco. This style combines echoes of Art Nouveau and neoclassicism. Its distinctive features are clear lines, expensive materials, wealth and chic.

Renaissance architecture is considered to be the period of spiritual and material development of the culture of Rome and Ancient Greece at the beginning of the XII century. This stage has always been a turning point, especially in relation to the previous style – Gothic. Ancient stereotypes are inherent in this direction: symmetry, proportionality and orderliness of the constituent elements. A good example is the preserved fragments of Roman architecture. Rather complicated proportions are gradually transformed into beautiful columns, semicircular arches and domes.

The architectural style typical of medieval Italy is Cosmatesco. This direction involves the widespread use of mosaics. A striking feature of it are the floors laid out of white marble and inlaid with patterns.

Arch of the General Staff Building

Architecture has always reflected periods of human existence, fashion and aesthetic ways.
